Is the property registered in my name?
Yes. The property is legally and officially yours alone.
What ongoing services are available through Prime Living 360?
Daily services are provided through the Prime Living 360 Program, a monthly membership offered separately from your home purchase, and typically well below the monthly fees of a senior living community. It gives you 24/7 access to medical support through our partner providers, help arranging the right insurance, plus activities, tours, holiday and community events: everything that keeps a close, active community.
Can guests and family visit?
Of course. It's your own home, and you can host whoever you like, whenever you like.
What if I want to leave in the future?
You can leave whenever you wish. If needed, we'll help you sell the home and make sure the process is legally and financially safe.
Can I pass the property on to my children?
Yes. The property is fully and legally yours, so you can leave it to your children.
What does your support include before and during the move?
Full support all the way: the legal and bureaucratic steps of relocating and buying property, opening a bank account and help with financing if needed, through to furnishing the home and getting it ready to move in.
Can I get residency in Portugal?
Portugal offers the D7 visa for people with passive income, such as a pension. We guide you through the process step by step and help you prepare your application. The final decision rests with the Portuguese authorities.
How does healthcare work in Portugal?
Legal residents can register with Portugal's national health service, the SNS. Many also choose private health insurance, and we arrange the relevant coverage for you. As part of the 360 Program, you have 24/7 medical availability through our partner providers.
Do I have to live there full-time?
No. Many buyers spend part of the year in Porto, often escaping the northern winter as snowbirds, and keep their life back home. The 360 Program supports you whenever you're there.
Do I need to speak Portuguese?
No. English is widely spoken in Porto, and our team and partners support you in English. If you'd like to learn, we can connect you with Portuguese classes.
